Retort Sterilization

Rotary Retort

A rotary retort for agitated sterilization cycles, documented with a full spec table and real product photography from manufacturing partner ZonGon.

Rotary Retort

Applications

  • Canned foods where agitation improves heat penetration
  • Products sensitive to overcooking at the can/jar edge

What It Does

Rotates the load during the sterilization cycle to improve and even out heat penetration versus a static retort, running a documented 0.35 MPa / 147°C design cycle.

Process Position

Positioned after filling & sealing, before cooling and case packing, as an alternative to the static water-spray/immersion/steam retorts for products that benefit from agitation.

Key Features

  • 2 documented models (1200/1400) with a full length/volume/power/pressure spec table
